About Christine
For years, Christine Howlett spent her life helping others discover the hope of Christ while quietly carrying wounds of her own.
As an author, speaker, and ministry leader, she writes with honesty about trauma, healing, and the unwavering love of Jesus. Her words invite readers to discover that grace is not reserved for the unbroken; it is often found most clearly in the places that hurt the most.
Christine’s debut book, Still, He Came, leads readers through Holy Week one day at a time, weaving together Scripture, personal storytelling, and reflection to reveal a Savior who never turns away from suffering.
Whether speaking at churches, women’s events, or community gatherings, Christine’s desire is simple: to help others discover that no person is beyond God’s redeeming love.
Beyond the Pages
Behind every page I’ve written is a family who has loved, encouraged, and walked beside me through every season of my story.
I’ve been married to my husband, Matt, for more than two decades, and together we’ve had the joy of raising our two amazing children, Taeler and Hunter, into adulthood. Through life’s celebrations, heartbreaks, unexpected detours, and countless moments of God’s faithfulness, they have remained my greatest earthly blessings.
You’ll also hear me mention Gizmo from time to time. Our little Pomeranian has been part of our family’s story for many years and has brought comfort, laughter, and companionship through some of life’s most difficult seasons.
